pcos machine

Election is set on May 10... (hala!) Everyone is excited to go out and exercise his right to vote.

Pero bukod sa mga kandidatong nangangako, (aside from the candidates who promised to give better living to Filipinos --merong isang bida na alam ko lahat ay nakaabang, nakamasid kung ano ba talaga ang kakayahan niya para sa matagumpay at malinis na halalan. (Everyone is watching this one if it does have the capacity to bring successful, honest and clean election.

I consider myself lucky because I will be witnessing the first use of PCOS Machine in the Philippines. ^_^

PCOS stands for Precint Count Optical Scan-a great help "daw" to avoid "dagdag-bawas".

Functions of PCOS:

- counts and canvass votes

- not accept overvoting. (Kaya ingat! Mabuti na ang kulang kaysa sumobra. ^_^

Wow!

PARTS OF PCOS:

(This is where you are going to place your ballot)

- Touch Screen (A part wherein you can see if your votes are being read and counted by the machine)

- Thermal Printer (this is where election returns are being printed)

- Back-Up Battery (for use incase of power failure)

Haaay...I hope PCOS machines are really ready for the election on Monday.
