Baguio, 2012

Sorry for the late post. Got busy these past few months taking care of the kids at home, sending and fetching them from school and doing some household chores.

Of course, in between those times, there were happy moments of togetherness and family bonding once in a while  but because of busy schedules of each family members, it is only now that I get this chance to write down one of the most exciting adventures I got -- the short but happy bonding moments with hubby in Baguio.

My hubby and I went to Baguio City last October 21, it was Saturday.  Unfortunately, kids weren't able to join us because of school matters.  It wasn't my first time in that place, either hubby. We had our first trip together when I was 3 months pregnant with my eldest son, year 1999 to be exact.

DENGUE attacked Rian!

Rian is my grandson via pamangkin Adrian.

-is turning 7 this coming February of 2013;

-is always happy playing with his sibling Adee;

-is fond of McQueen of "The Cars"; and

...was attacked by Dengue found last Sunday, October 28.

Love for Photoshoots ;)

Well, as I have told you guys, I really love to take pictures chances are and if the mood really invites me. One thing I love to take shots are pictures of my grandchildren. They're very innocent and candid. Kapag sabihin mo na "smile" they will be glad to render it without any hesitation and theirs are geniune. Hindi pilit ang ngiti. Some pictures I love to take is with Adee.  I used a digicam in taking these pictures while  getting ready for school and some were taken during her playtime.

Grabe ang Weather!

It's exactly two days now that my kids are still at home because of the suspension of classes due to non-stop rain and floods all over Metro Manila and over Northern Luzon. Grabe ang ulan hindi na tumigil. I think it is almost a week now that the rain continuously pouring NCR and its nearby provinces especially Bataan, Pampanga to name a few.

Hypertension !!!

Great are people who have no problem with regards to their health.

Tsk..tsk!

My family acquired through generations (I guess) the illness of being hypertensive -- if you may call it an illness.

I still remember when I was still young when 'tatay' would go to his doctor for a regular check up on his blood pressure. Also, 'nanay' did the same thing. My father actually had been hypertensive even he was still as young as 12 years old. Nanay would tell me that his first time application for joining the Philippine Army was a failure because of a high blood pressure result. But of course, after a series of carbo intake discipline my father joined the military in 1951.

Happy 38th Birthday to me

My birthdays weren't really celebrated with parties, drinks or even balloons when I was a kid. As I remember, Nanay used to cooked "pancit bihon" and or "adobong manok" and that would be our family menu for lunch.

Last year, a small bonding time with my siblings was organized by hubby plus of course, the sweet kisses from my two sons. :)

This year it was also celebrated as simple as it used to be.  We, (of course kuya john, luiz and my hubb) just went to Market Market again to celebrate the event.  Actually, it wasn't planned at all until my phone rang and hubby told me to fix the children and myself because he had rendered half-day service from his work in Marriott Hotel.

Happiness ^_^

Maybe this is one of the most exciting moments of my life...aside of course, from the time that I bore my children and be with the man that I have always love-- I am excited that my eldest son will be in his secondary schooling this coming June, 2012.

New adventures I guess for both of us, especially he, who really made the best out of that Admission Test at Makati Science High School. He fortunately passed the exam and ranked 29 in Private Schools Category last January 14, 2012. It was one of the best gifts that our family received for this year.
