Rainforest Water Park

Last March 25, Sunday, we (papa, john, luiz and I) went to RAINFOREST WATER PARK in Pasig to have our first summer escapade for this year. We spent that wonderful and sunshiny day with Papa's Click office dabarkads Mario, Arianne, Annalyn with her husband and Kid Gayle.

It was originally planned that the group goes to LIGPO ISLAND in Batangas. But because of the unavailability of the van it was canceled and that RAINFOREST was an alternative.

We (papa and I) woke up early to prepare egg sandwich and the grilled tilapia and bangus, foods that were assigned to us.

We reached the place via taxi cab for about 20 minutes and had a fare of P89.00. Before going in the pool area, guard usually checks on baggages. Papa's "chivas" was confiscated. It happened to be the "best baon" for Papa Nestor (he he he) sayang!

POOL SIDE:

Anyway, there are 3 pools inside RAINFOREST. One is for young kids and the remaining 2, one for children bout 10 years old and the last one is for adults. It was Sunday so expected that all pools were loaded. Too bad that in my age I still don't know how to swim so I stayed most of the time just in the corner of the pool. (shy mode)

We rented 2 sets of salbabida for our two boys. The fee was P50.00

THE BUTTERFLY GARDEN

After the pool thing, we got straight in the Butterfly Garden. It was quite a real-short and fast tour inside. Mabilis lang kase paikot lang siya. Just a few butterflies na lang ang sumasalubong sa amin because probably it was almost 4 o'clock. The caretaker told us that butterflies usually rest during those hours. You'll surely see them in the morning.

MINI-ZOO

Our Mini-zoo tour was great! You never thought na Pasig City has one. My kids enjoyed the area--para kaming nagto-tour sa Avilon Zoo or Manila Zoo. It's very well taken cared of and has maintained its cleanliness since zoo was put up into the RAINFOREST park. There were ostritchs, horses, alligators, monkeys, snakes, and some other farm animals. It was my first time to saw black- colored pigs. They were actually originated from Vietnam.

JAPANESE GARDEN

It's a small area in the park that was landscaped and has one pagoda
surrounded by a lagoon with different kinds of fishes. But I saw gold fishes than any other kind of fish. (or just couldn't recognized their kinds (hahaha)

MINI-TRAIN

Sorry guys I had not had the chance to see the mini-train that goes around the whole park-just the railroad! Might be on a reconstructing process..

Other facilities I saw was the basketball, tennis and the badminton court.

AMPHITHEATRE

Because of tiredness, just found ourselves heading the EXIT passage and had not gotten the chance to see this area. Some told that morning shows usually seen here before..ewan ko lang what kind of shows.

Wholah! Kakapagod! But what matters the most was that the kids did xplore and enjoyed a fine Sunday with laughters and hapi memories in RAINFOREST WATER PARK! :-) Balik Tayo next summer ha! ^_^
