Ospital ng Makati is located in Sampaguita cor. Gumamela St. Brgy. Pembo, Makati City.
It was established in 1989 and is being directed by Dr. Julius Drilon. Recently, my mother, who is 76 years old had operated for eye cataract. We should say that it was a success.
As far as Nanay's experience-okay naman ang treatment nila. It was fine. But apart from Nanay's experience, there're still unsatisfy with the services of OSMAK. "Mabagal ang sistema at masusungit ang mga staff dun" others say. Its a free consultation to all Makati residents as long as you have the MHP card (yellow card) you don't need to pay for it.
Okay..ganito yun...if you don't have any sked yet-kumuha ka muna from the Information Personnel and has to be there prior to your scheduled time. For example, if u have a 7 o'clock time u have to be there at around 5am or 6am to get the lowest possible number and 10 o'clock if u are with a 12 noon appointment.
I had all my pregnancy deliveries in OSMAK. Honestly, hindi ko gusto the way they threated us...akala mo parang wala kaming pambayad. They seemed unconcerned with us inside EMERGENCY ROOM. I still remember when I was about to move from one bed to another (they'll be taking me to the DELIVERY ROOM) a young man told me to move faster, "pakibilisan nyo naman". He'd never even given me any assistance! Ang hirap nun noh! I never felt I was given an extra care that time. And so with my first delivery. After the IE, I was left on that steel bed just like a pig. The staff had not approached me to say "misis, you have to get up and lay now on the bed inside". Kalokah!
But honestly, kung nandun kana sa loob you will be fully checked-up, there will be doctors to look upon your condition every now and then, the nurses are on time giving you all the medicines needed to be taken. In short-you will be observed and checked in the best possible way.
Haay...ganun nga siguro kapag Government services...tsk..tsk
